Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo announced today the state would be recommending healthy children not receive vaccinations.

WFLA reported on March 7, 2022, “The Florida Department of Health is going to be the first state to officially recommend against the COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children,” Dr. Ladapo commented said.

The Florida Department of Health's website continues to say 'All Persons 5 Years of Age and Older Are Eligible to Receive the Vaccine In Florida... and the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for individuals 5 years of age or older.

In Europe, several countries have already made COVID-19 vaccinations optional for children.

For example, ABC News reported Health authorities in Denmark are “winding down” the country's vaccination program and see no reason now to administer a booster dose to children.

The Danish Health Authority said in a statement issued on February 18, 2022, that the third infection wave in the European nation was waning “due to the large population immunity."
