EU Publishes Updated COVID-19 Pandemic Maps

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control published updated maps on September 2, 2021, supporting the coordinated approach to the restriction of free movement of people in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The color-code combined indicator identifies the 14-day notification rate, testing rate, and test positivity.

The COVID-19 maps are based on data reported by the EU Member States to the European Surveillance System.

As of August 29, 2021, the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses distributed by manufacturers to twenty-nine EU/EEA countries exceeded 634 million.

Throughout the EU, there are various COVID-19 vaccines available.
