Hungary Intends to Purchase Sputnik V Vaccine From Russia

Hungary's foreign affairs and trade minister Peter Szijjarto announced on November 12, 2020, that 'Budapest would receive a sample of the Sputnik V vaccine within a week-and-a-half for laboratory testing.'

'And, according to reporting by the Independent, clinical trials are to begin in December 2020, and depending on the vaccine efficacy results, Hungary will begin to procure the vaccine in January 2021.
