Should Grad Students Sign Coronavirus Contracts?

As U.S. universities reopen campuses, a number of them have asked graduate-level students to sign one-side agreements. This can put graduate students who need to be on campus to perform their graduation-required research in a tricky situation, says an article in Science, published on August 20, 2020. Many grad students are not sure whether they will sign these 'contracts' even if their stipend, health insurance, and housing hang in the balance.
