3.4 Million in England Reported Infected With Coronavirus

About 3.4 million people living in England were likely to have been infected with COVID-19 disease by the end of June 2020, reported a large antibody surveillance study. This data indicates just under 6% of England's population was infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The Real-time Assessment of Community Transmission-2 (REACT2) trial found minority ethnic groups, people working in care homes and healthcare, and people living in larger households were more likely to have contracted the virus.
