U.S. FDA Has Now Authorized 230 Different Coronavirus Tests

As of August 31, 2020, the U.S. FDA has authorized 230 coronavirus diagnostic tests, which include 186 molecular tests, 40 antibody tests, and 4 antigen tests.
In the USA, the percentage of respiratory specimens testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus decreased from 6.2% during week #33 to 5.7% during week #34, reported the U.S. CDC, as of August 28, 2020.
