The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association are collaborating to collect and share publicly available data regarding the coronavirus pandemic's impact on children in the USA. They reported on August 20, 2020, children represent only 9.3% of all cases in states reporting cases by age. And, children were 0.4%-4.6% of total reported hospitalizations during 2020.

Furthermore, children were 0%-0.3% of all COVID-19 fatalities, and 21 states reported (0) child deaths.
