India Emerges As The World's Coronavirus Epicenter

As of August 30, 2020, the country of India set a new COVID-19 pandemic record when it reported 78,761 new coronavirus infections in 24 hours, and surpassing the USA for the highest single-day total. The Hindu reported there have been 3,619,126 virus cases during 2020.
