Sun-Belt-States Now Account For Most Nursing Home COVID-19 Cases

On August 17, 2020, the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), representing more than 14,000 nursing homes and assisted living communities that provide care to approximately 5-million people each year, released an updated report showing the major spike of new COVID disease cases in nursing homes has now surpassed the peak level back on May 31, 2020.

And the 'Sun Belt Region' of the USA accounted for 78% of new COVID-19 cases by the end of July 2020.
